2017 New Spacecraft and Commercial Spaceflights

The Courier Mail advises, "Since the retirement of the Space Shuttle program in 2011, NASA has been reliant on the Russian Soyuz rocket to transport the space agency's astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). SpaceX and Boeing have been awarded contracts to build and operate spacecraft to ferry astronauts to and from the ISS, with the first commercial spaceflights set to begin in 2017.These will include astronauts Robert Behnken, Sunita Williams, Eric Boe and Douglas Hurley, who are currently in training for the proposed flights."

Will be interesting to follow what this improved access brings and whether any more astronauts take up musicking on the ISS. 2017 is not far away.
