Aesthetics of Living in Space

What I find interesting is that in 2013 we are enjoying digital communications about the aesthetics of living in space. Previously, most information about space and space travel has been related to science, material objects and physics. Even the health information has been medically orientated. In the lyrics Hadfield composed or revised, he is communicating about what it is like to experience life in another world, and to live in a small multi-cultural diaspora beyond the Earth. He is also communicating through an aesthetic modality that we can enjoy and I think this is a new dimension of life in space that opens endless new possibilities.
